Hospital ahead
A blue rectangle with a white "H" is an information sign directing you to a hospital ahead. Some versions show whether the hospital has an accident and emergency department.
When you see it
- ◆ Follow the sign to reach the hospital ahead.
- ◆ Watch for pedestrians, ambulances and slow-moving traffic near the entrance.
- ◆ Information signs on local roads have a blue background.
- ◆ A separate plate may show the route to the A&E department.
