This sign shows that the motorway and its regulations are ending. The rules and speed limits of the road you are joining now apply, which may be very different.
When you see it
- ◆ Check your speed -- the new road may have a much lower limit.
- ◆ Be ready for junctions, slower traffic, oncoming vehicles and pedestrians.
- ◆ Watch for sharper bends and side roads that motorways do not have.
- ◆ Adjust your driving to the standard of the road you are joining.
